![]() ![]() For example if I have a crusader with lots of PROT and 70 hp. I think the stress damage should depend on the % of total life of the hero the crit dealt. But if an aoe crits (most of the aoe) will do ~5 damage or even sometimes 1 damage to all heroes but will generate the same amount of stress per person than the 10+ damage attack. For example, if a single target attack crits it will do usually over 10 damage to a single hero. ![]() This leads to the second argument here, that crits shouldn't do a set amount of stress, but they should do more or less stress depending on the damage dealt. ![]() ![]() So instead of doing for example 16 damage and ~15+random party member stress, the aoe will do, let's say 5 damage on everyone (so 20 damage) but also ~60 stress or more to the party. However when mobs use AOE attacks they have the same X% chance to deal double damage but FOUR times the stress damage they would do from a single crit. Mathematically that means that the monsters have X% chance to deal double damage AND deal ~15+ stress damage to a hero. This is, I think, too harsh because to me it makes sense that if you get critted from a single attack that dealt 16 instead of the normal 8 damage you get a stress hit. (I'm not even ruling out that they also get a stress hit because each crit stresses other people too). This makes sense, the monster maybe has 10% chance to crit and he dealt a huge hit so it creates stress.īut currently the game checks only once if an AOE attack will crit, you know how you never see Crit-hit-hit-miss on an aoe hit? That is because the game probably tests first if the attack crits, if it does it checks if the heroes dodge if they dont, EVERYONE gets critted AND EVERYONE gets the huge stress hit as if they had been individually crit. To go more in details, when a monster hits a single hero and crits, that hero will receive huge stress (like ~15+) and some other heroes will also get a smaller stress hit. To me it is kind of weird that for an aoe attack, the character clearly rolls only once to determine if it's a crit or not but when YOU get crit for example by Blanket fire, ALL heroes get the big stress hit that normally happens when that hero gets crit singularly. ![]()
